Founded as Kenosha Beef in 1936, after Frank Vignieri borrowed

from his wife to purchase several veal calves, the company
quickly grew its Midwest customer base, thanks to a reputation
built on customer satisfaction, high quality standards, innovative
ideas
and
better
tasting food.
Today, we manufacturer a broad line of branded and
private-label raw, frozen and fully cooked beef and pork products
for many of the
biggest foodservice and retail names across the country. We produce
over 6 million pounds of product per week, generate $300 million
in annual sales, and employ more than 750 people in four nationwide
plants.
At Birchwood Foods, our goal has never been to be the nation’s
biggest ground beef supplier. Our focus has always been on being the
best. And we are. Still owned by the Vignieri family, Frank's son
