We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented individual to support our shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely unload and load trucks with incoming and outgoing product.
- Ensure order and inventory accuracy through established processes, including data entry and generating computerized reports.
- Maintain product quality and temperature standards throughout transfer and storage.
- Follow inventory control practices to ensure all Birchwood Foods standards are met.
- Maintain facility sanitation and housekeeping, including cleaning, sanitizing, and proper storage of equipment and tools.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP requirements.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving required.
- Ability to safely operate power equipment (including forklifts).
- Computer literacy and accurate data‑entry skills.
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods; may require bending, twisting, reaching, or squatting.
- Verifiable work history with strong reliability.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Reliable transportation.
