Production Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and staffing within the assigned department. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a commitment to compliance, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet production goals.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety.
- Monitor daily production efficiencies and prepare performance reports.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.
- Verify HACCP documentation in accordance with the HACCP plan.
- Oversee compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Apply BRC principles and training to departmental operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food processing; meat industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with USDA regulations and HACCP protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Meat or Agricultural Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in a production environment.
